The Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) program is funded by the National Science Foundation to enhance the recruitment, retention, and professional development of underrepresented Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students. At UC Davis, AGEP consists of the Scholars Program, a mentored summer research experience for incoming underrepresented graduate students, and the Advantage Program, a retention and professional development seminar series held during the academic year.
