The Graduate Group in Immunology offers an interdisciplinary, flexible program in an exciting field of biology and medicine that sits at a crossroad for many disciplines. Our faculty has many research interests in the area of immunology. One focus of our program is infection and immunity, including host immune responses to parasites, viruses and bacteria, vaccine development and immune regulation. Other areas include nutrition and immunity, autoimmunity, cancer therapy and the use of immune mediators for diagnosis and treatment. This diversity of research offers our students the latitude to emphasize and develop skills and knowledge in those areas of immunology that are of most interest to them.
This program is an interdisciplinary Graduate Group.
