INVITATION TO JUNE 2008 GRADUATE STUDIES COMMENCMENT CEREMONY
The Office of Graduate Studies, together with the Graduate Council and the Graduate Student Association, will hold the 2008 Graduate Studies Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the ARC Pavilion to honor the graduate degree recipients. Following the ceremony, there will be an outdoor reception on Hutchison Field outside the ARC Pavilion for graduate degree recipients, faculty, and guests.
You are cordially invited to attend the Graduate Studies Commencement Ceremony and to join us at the reception. It means a great deal to graduate students to have faculty members attend their commencement.
Robes, caps, tassels, and UC Ph.D. hoods are available for use free of charge and may be ordered online through your department from Special Services. Non-UC academic hoods may be rented online through your department office from the UC Davis Bookstore. Information regarding purchasing academic dress is available online. PLEASE NOTE: Delivery of purchase orders takes 8-10 weeks.
